Sunflower Mine

I know most of you guys have been out there before, but does anybody want to make it out again in September? I've been wanting to see this mine for the longest now. I'm thinking mid September will be the last time I can get out for a while since my wife is getting close to popping. I'm open to dates if you have any suggestions.

 We've never been on this trail before. So we're tentative - (need to check whats up on the Cub Scout schedule to see if we have any dates available) for this run. Throw out some dates and we'll get back to you on our schedule.

Between drill weekend, dove season, and my Ironwood trip I won't be able to make this one. It's a good trail, you guys will have fun.

I'm going out Monday, Sept 1 (opening day) if you wanna come. Just be at my house at 5am, lol

I also plan on going out the 13th and 14th!

Sorry, but I'm gonna have to renig on Saturday the 13th of Sept. I have to be at work and help the engineers test the fire system for the high rise I work in. Hopefully someone else wants to go and you can still make it on that day. If not lets try and reschedule for later in the month.

No problem JD, I know how that is. If no one else whats to make it on the 13th we can try in late Oct or Nov. The 13th is probably the last weekend that I'll be willing to venture off from my wife for a little while, at least until jr pops out.

Sounds real good Damion. No, I'm thinking the (Wells) AZ Backroads book and GPS should work just fine though.

Ryan- I know JD and Chris are busy, but do you have any interest in doing this run again? I'm sure you've been on this one a few times.

 Damion are you still up for the 13^th? Looks like it will just be us.

-If it’s just us- we’ll probably meet up and only go up to the mine. You guys can either drive it or ride with me as it doesn’t sound to be too bad.

-If some one else joins us- we’ll do the whole loop and again you guys can ride with me.

From what I understand, the trail gets a little nasty after the mine. You probably shouldn’t take your truck past the mine and I would rather not do the whole trail with only one vehicle.
