    Bulldog Canyon w/ pics

Ran Bulldog Canyon yesterday (7-30-08) for some solitude and photo opps.  Great trail with awesome views and some challenging spots.  A few times I was teetering on two wheels, but many with one at full flex or in the air. The trail has some new washouts that helped the challenge a lot.  I drove it in 3 hours with photo stops.   A group could spend three to four hours watching each others rigs attempt some fun spots.   I would like to run this trail agian with a group and possibly hit another one in the same day.

Nice photos… The entire area is great place to explore especially during spring. I am thankful for the Jeep club’s fight to keep the area open. I just wish the dirt bikers would stop driving off the designated trails.

My Dad lives just off Ironwood at the base of the Goldfield Mountains, which makes this a convenient trail to take.

I would like to get out there someday... maybe in Spring like Ryan mentioned. Maybe even combine it with that area just north of Saguaro Lake called 'the rolls'... I've always wanted to romp there.

Well, its a short trail with some nice obstacles.  I might run it again this weekend.  South to North would be a lot more challenging, but I don't know if I can make it without a rear locker.  It really wasn't too hot and I ran it in mid-day.  I didn't see a sole there and really didn't notice any bike tracks either, lets just hope it stays open.  I'm all in whenever you guys want to make a run.

As you enter just look to the right (east). You will notice bike trails that are still fresh and where the vegetation has been flattened. When you obtain the permit, it states that you can only travel where there is a clear trail marker in sight.
