Dugas Rd is easy but scenic off road trail. Located
north of Cordes Junction. The trail starts just off I-17 and ends
in Strawberry, AZ. The trail has spectacular views of Verde Valley
and traverses terrain containing Cedar up to lush pine and dense
vegetation.

Most of the route can be traveled without the need
for 4x4 until you reach the Verde River. Depending on depth and
current, most 4x4 vehicles can cross safely. (Rely on your own
judgment to determine if its safe to cross)
Located on the other side of the Verde River is
Fossil Creek. This is a great place to stop an cool off in the
crystal clear water and sparkling waterfalls.
