I was thinking the same thing as DD! It's probably going to be a mess, but I think it will be managable if we can stay away from the 17. Sunday works for me Chris. Should be a good time.

So what are we thinking, Sat or Sun? I'm down for either.

So far we have me, Ryan, Damion, Coma... JD cancelled, what about Candi? Lee? Anyone else think they can swing it?

 If it's on Sunday then we are still a possibility. Saturday or Monday is a definite no. You guys choose whats the best day for the group.

Ryan - I'm working on a 2 day 1 night trip up north. Maybe even a 3 day 2 nighter if DD can arrange it with work. I'll get back to you as per our conversation earlier today.

If it's all the same I'd prefer Sunday. I believe there will be less highway traffic and I'd like to avoid the AZTTORA group that will be there on Saturday. I'll leave it up to Ryan though... he had asked for Saturday.

Yes, that sunday looks good to me. I have nothing on the calander. Ill send the info to Lee and see if he can go =)  

Sunday works fine for me. Damion and I are planning on Camping out on Saturday and will meet the group at the trail head. AzTacoma, any suggestions on a meeting point?

Lee will also be coming on this run. Possibly with his step son. 

 I might be able to get Lee and Shad to go camping for this...Ill ask...and Ill bring a game called " left right center" Drinking game ( as if you needed to ask ) =)

What do you think about meeting up at the Shoofly Ruins? Go north from Payson on Highway 87 and turn right on FR199 (Houston Mesa Rd). It's about 2 miles past the SR260 turnoff in Payson. FR199 is a road leading to Pyeatt Draw, and the Shoofly Ruins are along the way. Shoofly is about 3 miles up FR199 and Pyeatt is another 5 miles. I kinda wanted to check out the ruins anyway.

If those of us leaving Sunday meet up at the gas station on Shea and 87 at 7:30, we can be at Shoofly around 9 or 9:30 at the latest.

Any other ideas?

Works for me. I will check back for an update in case your plans change. Once we setup camp on Saturday I will explore what the Lowrance has to offer. If I come across anything of interest maybe we can check it out once you arrive.

 Nahhh Ryan we like ya! Its just hard for us to do the west side runs and sometimes other stuff happens...Like my testing for the police depts...and that process takes FOREVER! Now they are telling me it may be up to 6 months before i hear back from them, but Im on the eligable list....And for Lee...he can ONLY go out on Sundays. He has to work saturdays.
