03-17-2008 - Broken Arrow & Soliders Pass - Sedona, AZ

We took a weekday and did a couple runs in Sedona. The snow and slick rocks made it a whole new trail Big Smile

Thanks JD for coming! It was nice to get away and relax in the beautify red rock country.

Here are a couple videos of Ruby and I trying the Crack:

I can relay what JD told me...

Ryan FORCED him (kicking and screaming, i'm sure) to even try that crack!  Did you notice the picture at the beginning of the video.  That was a lady and her Rubicon that was less than experienced and was a breath away from damaging her Jeep... Sacreligious if you ask me... Devil

Just kidding, I know that Jim was bound and determine to do that crack, but I did like the intro to the video telling me that he was NOT forced to do this!  Thanks for the laughs... Drooling with envy, wish I could have been there! Smile

Nice video - I of course used a stunt double for me and Ruby for that shot.

Ryan did force me kicking ans screaming to do the crack, bunker hill, and the steps - how would you like to be called a wus by the Trail Boss. I think everybody out there knows that I baby my Rubicon when I'm out on the trail. I would never put Ruby in a situation where she might get a boo-boo. Stick out tongue

You are a master copywriter when it comes to trail reports Cool and I know you are demanding more text out of my trail description. To make up for my lack of writing skills I present to you the FULL VIDEO of the Broken Arrow Trail.

    Ryan,

I am concerned that we might loose you to the "Shutter Bug" or whatever the equivelent would be for the video camera (Video Monster).  You are getting too good at that sort of thing.  Great job!
